Video: French Polynesia – Bora Bora
This is a 4K video from our scuba diving in Bora Bora with Top Dive Bora Bora. French Polynesia is one of the most incredible places that I have ever visited and the scuba diving is world class. We booked a multi-island dive trip with Top Dive which allowed us to get a lower rate on each dive over multiple days on two different islands. All of our interactions with them were great and the dive guides were really experienced and knowledgable. We dove three different sites in Bora Bora – Tapu, Toopua and Anau – all of them were incredible. Anau is the site to visit for manta rays. As with most manta sites, visibility can be challenging but this was the closest and clearest that I have ever seen them in the wild. It was an incredible experience and the highlight of our diving. Toopua was a unique dive site with a sandy bottom canyon surrounded by rock outcroppings. We spent most of the dive watching a group of spotted eagle rays swim around. We dove Tapu twice, on two different days with two different experiences. The first day was a shark dive with lots and lots of black tip sharks. They would come to the surface in swarms when a new boat would arrive because the snorkel boats feed them. After 5 minutes, they would descend back down and the dive would begin. The second day, we did it as a drift dive for a new experience. We saw so much sea life during the dive.
