Video: Ecuador – Gordon Rocks Galápagos Islands

The Gordon Rocks dive site near Santa Cruz Island (Isla de Santa Cruz) is one of the top dive sites in the Galápagos Islands. We dove 2 times here the first day and it was so incredible, we booked again for the next day. The dive conditions differed greatly from those two days, it was quite a learning experience. Due to challenging currents and upwellings, the strong very currents bring plankton to the surface attracting large marine species in numbers. At Gordon Rocks dive site you may be able to find big schools of hammerhead sharks, black tip sharks, white tip reed sharks, Galápagos sharks, turtles, eels, sea turtles, spotted eagle rays, mobula rays, manta rays, golden rays, sting rays, barracudas and an assortment of reef fish.
